I had a rental this past week.
(pretty cherry ride, i must say.)
But alas, tomorrow it must be turned back in.
Anyway.
My dad wanted me to clean it, inside and out, before we turn in back in. No big, right? I didn't mind. So I planned on waking up early and cleaning it this morning (Sunday), but Saturday night I told him my plan and he said not to worry about it, that he was in no rush.
But apparently, what he really meant to say, was "Don't worry about getting up early and cleaning, but I DO need the car on Monday."
So he calls me while I'm at Brittanys and informs me of what he supposedly told me Saturday night, about needing the car Monday, so I say I will clean it when I get home. I get home at around 10, get everything together, put soap in the bucket and everything, and I get started. Then I hear my dad from his bedroom window calling my name. I asked him what was wrong, and he told me it was too late and that I was going to wake everyone up. And I reminded him how he needed the car tomorrow, and he informs me that no, he didn't need it right away in the morning, that my mom was going to run it up later in the afternoon. So I could have done it tomorrow. Well, thanks dad. I washed the car anyway. I was determined to do it, and kind of angry. Oh well.
